Web Design
What does it cost to have a professional website made?
The costs for a website at Vorlexa start from €795 for an informational website. A more extensive custom website typically costs €1,500 to €4,500. We always provide a non-binding customized quote. Please contact us for an exact price.
How long does it take to create a website?
A standard informational website is typically ready in 2 to 4 weeks. A more extensive project takes 4 to 8 weeks. We always work with a clear schedule and interim feedback.
Is the website mobile-friendly?
Yes, always. All websites are fully responsive and designed with a mobile-first approach. We test on smartphones, tablets, and desktops for a perfect experience on every screen.
Can I adjust the content myself?
Yes. Every website we deliver is equipped with a user-friendly CMS. You can adjust texts, images, and pages yourself without technical knowledge. We provide training upon delivery.
What about hosting and domain?
We take care of the hosting and domain entirely for you. Hosting is available from €3.95 per month on NVMe SSD servers in an EU data center. This way, you have one point of contact for everything.
Do you also build WordPress websites?
Yes, we work extensively with WordPress but also with other platforms. WordPress is suitable for most SME websites. We advise on the most appropriate platform based on your specific situation.
What about maintenance after delivery?
After delivery, you choose: you manage the website via the CMS (you will receive training upon delivery), or we take care of maintenance and updates in consultation. You can always contact us for individual adjustments afterwards.
Who owns the website after delivery?
You do. After full payment, the design, content, and data of the website are your property. You can also take it to another party if you ever wish to do so.
Who writes the texts for the website?
That can be both: you provide the texts yourself, or we write or edit them — including a search engine-friendly structure. During the intake, we agree on who does what.
What if I want to switch or stop later?
A website project is a one-time process without a continuous subscription — after delivery and payment, you are not tied to anything. If you additionally choose hosting or maintenance with us, a subscription model applies with a notice period of usually one month, in writing.
Webshops
What does it cost to have a webshop built?
The costs start from €1,495 for a small webshop with WooCommerce. A more extensive shop typically costs €2,500 to €7,500. We always provide a non-binding customized quote — please contact us for an exact price.
Which platform do you use?
We primarily work with WooCommerce and Shopify. WooCommerce is ideal for complete control and flexibility. Shopify is excellent for pure e-commerce beginners. We recommend the platform that best suits your situation.
Which payment methods can you integrate?
We integrate iDEAL, credit card (Visa/Mastercard), PayPal, Klarna, Afterpay, and more through payment providers such as Mollie, MultiSafepay, or Stripe. iDEAL is mandatory for the Dutch market.
Can I manage the webshop myself?
Yes. Adding products, adjusting prices, managing orders — you can do all of this yourself through a user-friendly dashboard. We provide extensive training upon delivery.
Is an online store easily findable on Google?
Yes, we build all online stores SEO-optimized. This means product schema markup, fast loading times, good URL structure, XML sitemap for products, and optimized meta tags for each product page.
Can you integrate with accounting, inventory, and shipping?
Yes. WooCommerce and Shopify integrate with almost all common accounting packages, inventory systems, and shipping platforms. During the intake, we will map your current systems and advise on the appropriate integrations for your situation.
Do you also handle the legal matters, such as terms and cookies?
We set up the technology: cookie banner, pages for privacy statement and general terms, and the mandatory elements in the checkout. You should have the legal content drafted or reviewed by a lawyer — we are not legal advisors, but we ensure that everything is technically in the right place.
Can I migrate my existing webshop?
Yes. We migrate products, customers, and orders from your current platform, preserving SEO value through the URL structure and redirects. You approve the new shop before we switch over.
What costs does a webshop incur after delivery?
Expect hosting, your domain name, and any licenses or transaction fees from payment providers — and for Shopify, the platform subscription. We will outline this transparently in advance, so you have the complete picture before making a decision.
Redesign
What is the difference between a redesign and a new website?
In a redesign, we retain the existing structure and SEO value but update the design, technology, and UX. This is faster and more cost-effective than building entirely new. A new site is built from scratch — ideal if the technology is completely outdated or the content needs to be completely revised.
Will I lose my SEO value with a redesign?
No, provided it is done correctly. We maintain URL structures, redirect properly, preserve all meta-data, and monitor rankings before and after launch. A good redesign typically improves your SEO.
How long does a website redesign take?
An average redesign takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the size of the site and the amount of content that needs to be rewritten. We always work with a clear schedule and interim feedback moments.
Will my current website remain live during the redesign?
Yes. We build in a temporary test environment while your current site remains live. You approve the new version before we go live. The transition takes place at a scheduled time with minimal downtime.
What does a website redesign cost?
The costs for a redesign start from €995 for a small informational website. A more extensive redesign typically costs €2,000 to €5,000. We always provide a non-binding customized quote after a free intake conversation.
What happens to my email and content during the redesign?
They will continue to function and be retained. Your email will remain unaffected, and existing content will be carried over to the new site — rewritten where it can be improved, one-to-one where it is already good.
Can a redesign also be done in phases?
Yes. We can renew each component — for example, first the homepage and service pages, then the rest. This way, you spread the investment and see results sooner.
What costs does the site have after the redesign?
A redesign is a one-time project. After that, you only pay for hosting and your domain name, plus possibly a maintenance subscription if you outsource the management to us — with a notice period of usually one month, in writing.
SEO
How long does it take for SEO to yield results?
SEO is a long-term investment. Initial results are usually visible after 3 to 6 months. Significant increases in organic traffic can be measured after 6 to 12 months. Technical improvements can sometimes have an effect within weeks.
What is the difference between technical SEO and content SEO?
Technical SEO concerns the technical health of your website: loading speed, crawlability, structured data, and indexing. Content SEO focuses on writing relevant content that aligns with search intent. Both are essential for good rankings.
Do you also do local SEO?
Yes, local SEO is a specialty. We optimize your Google Business Profile, ensure consistent NAP data, and build local backlinks. Essential for businesses serving customers in a specific region.
What is the difference between SEO and Google Ads?
Google Ads (paid) delivers immediate traffic but stops once the budget is exhausted. SEO (organic) takes more time to build but provides sustainable traffic without cost per click. The best strategy combines both: Ads for quick results, SEO for the long term.
Do you also work with AI SEO for ChatGPT and Gemini?
Yes. We implement Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) for AI search engines: llms.txt, FAQPage schema markup, robots.txt configuration for AI crawlers, and factual authoritative content. This ensures that your business is also cited when people ask questions to ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity.
What is the cost of SEO per month?
That depends on your ambition, the competition in your market, and the starting point of your website. SEO is generally a monthly process with a fixed agreement in advance — no surprises later. Please contact us for a customized proposal.
Can you guarantee a number 1 position?
No — and be cautious of parties that do promise that: no one determines Google's ranking except Google. What we do guarantee: a transparent approach, well-founded choices, and measurable progress in positions, traffic, and conversions.
How is the result measured and reported?
You will receive periodic, comprehensible reports detailing the positions of your key keywords, organic traffic, and conversions — with explanations: what has been done, what is the effect, and what is the next step.
Am I tied to a long contract?
SEO takes time — expect 3 to 6 months for the first results — but you are not tied to a multi-year contract: a process is a subscription model with a notice period of usually one month, in writing.
Domains
How quickly is a domain registered?
Most domains (.nl, .com, .net, .be, .eu) are registered and active within a few minutes. For some ccTLDs, it may take a little longer. We confirm registration immediately via email.
What is the difference between .nl and .com?
.nl enhances trust among Dutch visitors and Google NL rankings. .com is international and recognized worldwide. For a purely Dutch company, .nl is preferred. We recommend registering both to protect your name.
Can I transfer a domain from another registrar?
Yes. For a transfer, you need an authorization code (AUTH code) from your current registrar. We take care of the rest. The transfer usually takes 1-5 business days depending on the extension.
What is DNS management and do I need it?
DNS translates your domain name to the IP address of your server. You need DNS management to link your domain to your website and email. We take care of this for you as part of our service — you do not need to know anything about DNS records.
What is the cost of a domain name?
The price varies by extension (.nl, .com, .eu, etc.). We always apply the current rates from our billing system — this way, you will never see an outdated amount. Please contact us for the current rate of your extension.
What happens if my domain expires?
You will receive a reminder well before the expiration date. If a domain does expire, most extensions have a short recovery period during which the domain can still be retrieved — often at additional costs from the registry. Therefore, make sure to renew on time.
Can I transfer my domain away later as well?
Yes, your domain is and remains yours. Upon request, you will receive the transfer code (AUTH-code) and can transfer to any other provider, without any additional costs from our side.
Are my details publicly visible in the WHOIS?
For most extensions, personal data is now typically concealed in the public WHOIS, partly due to the GDPR. The exact rules vary by extension — feel free to ask us about your situation.
Can I use email on my domain without a website?
Yes. You can register a domain and use it solely for email — a website is not required. A small hosting package with email is sufficient; we will set it up for you.
Shared Hosting
Which hosting package do I need?
For most small business websites, the Start package (€3.95/month) is more than sufficient. If you have multiple websites or expect more than 10,000 visitors per month, then the Plus package (€6.95/month) is the right choice. We are happy to advise you based on your situation — just get in touch.
Is there a free SSL certificate included?
Yes, each hosting package includes a free Let's Encrypt SSL certificate for all your domains. This is fully included in the price and is automatically renewed — you do not need to do anything.
How fast are the servers?
All servers run on AMD EPYC Genoa processors with NVMe SSD storage. This is significantly faster than traditional HDD or SATA SSD hosting. On average, we measure a Time To First Byte (TTFB) of under 200ms.
Can I transfer my existing website?
Yes, all packages include a free migration. We will move your current website, email addresses, and databases without any downtime. You do not need to do anything — we take care of everything.
Where are the servers located?
All servers are located in European (EU) data centers. This is important for AVG/GDPR compliance and ensures low latency for Dutch and Belgian visitors. Your customer data does not leave the EU.
What is the uptime guarantee?
Our infrastructure has an uptime guarantee of 99.9%. We monitor 24/7 and are available for support at all hours. In case of issues, we respond within the hour.
Which technology supports shared hosting?
Our shared hosting is optimized for PHP websites: you can choose the PHP version for each site via Plesk, with MySQL/MariaDB databases and scheduled tasks (cron). If your project runs on Python, Node.js, or Django, we recommend a Cloud VPS — there you determine the entire stack yourself.
Is email included with the package?
Yes. Each package includes professional email accounts on your own domain, to be set up via Plesk or used in any email program via IMAP/SMTP.
What about backups?
Every day, a backup of your files and databases is automatically created. You can restore it yourself with one click via Plesk, or our support team can assist you. If you would like to know the exact retention period for your package, please contact us.
Are there traffic or usage limits?
Each package has ample specifications that do not pose a limitation for normal business websites. If your website consistently exceeds those, we will notify you in time and advise a more suitable package or a Cloud VPS — you will not be caught off guard.
Can I cancel my hosting package?
Yes — hosting is a subscription service; there is typically a notice period of one month, in writing. After cancellation, you can of course take your website, email, and data with you.
WordPress Hosting
What makes NVMe WordPress hosting faster?
NVMe SSD storage reads and writes much faster than traditional drives, resulting in shorter database queries and page load times. Combined with AMD EPYC Genoa processors, your WordPress site responds almost instantly.
Is WordPress pre-installed?
No, WordPress is not pre-installed — but you can install it with one click via WordPress Toolkit in Plesk, or we can do it for you. After that, automatic updates and daily backups ensure that your site remains up-to-date and secure.
Can I move my existing WordPress site for free?
Yes. Free professional migration is included with every package. Our team will move your site with minimal downtime — you don’t have to do anything.
What is WordPress Toolkit and do I need it?
WordPress Toolkit enables updates, staging environments, and site cloning with a single click. Ideal for both developers and website owners who want to test their site before making changes live.
Which package do I need?
Bronze is suitable for a personal site or blog. Silver and Gold are ideal for growing business sites and small webshops. Platinum is built for high-traffic sites and WooCommerce stores. You can always upgrade as you grow.
What is the difference with regular shared hosting?
WordPress hosting runs on the same fast infrastructure (AMD EPYC, NVMe, Plesk), supplemented with WordPress-specific tools: WordPress Toolkit for one-click installation, automatic updates, staging environments, and site cloning. If your site does not run on WordPress, choose shared hosting.
Is email included?
Yes. Each package includes professional mailboxes on your own domain, with spam filtering and access via IMAP/SMTP in any email program.
Are there limitations on plugins or themes?
No — you can install any plugin and any theme; you have full control over your WordPress installation. However, we advise keeping the number of plugins limited for speed and security, and to test changes first in a staging environment via WordPress Toolkit.
Where is my data located?
All data is stored in European (EU) data centers and is hosted in compliance with AVG/GDPR — important when your website processes personal data.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes — WordPress hosting is a subscription model; there is a notice period of usually one month, in writing. When switching, you can take your site, email, and data with you.
Cloud VPS
Do I really get the resources I pay for?
Yes. Your vCPUs and memory are reserved for your VPS — you do not compete with others for what is included in your package. This is the fundamental difference with shared hosting.
Do I have full root access?
Yes, full root access from the moment your server is set up. You can install and configure everything — your OS, your stack, your rules.
Which operating system can I choose?
You can choose from popular Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, AlmaLinux, and Rocky Linux. Windows Server is available upon request.
Where are the servers located exactly?
All VPS servers are located in European data centers in Falkenstein (FSN1), Nuremberg (NBG1), and Helsinki (HEL1). This ensures low latency for EU visitors and full GDPR compliance.
Difference between VPS and shared hosting?
With shared hosting, you share server resources with others. With a VPS, you have dedicated resources (CPU, RAM) that are exclusively available to you. This provides better performance, full root access, and more control.
Is the VPS managed or unmanaged?
Our Cloud VPS is fundamentally self-managed: you have full root access and manage the operating system, updates, and security yourself. Our support team is available 24/7 for questions about the platform. If you prefer to outsource server management, please contact us to discuss the options.
How do backups and snapshots work?
You can create snapshots yourself — for example, just before a major change — and restore them in a matter of minutes. This way, you always capture a working state of your server, ideal for updates and development environments.
Can I scale up in between?
Yes. You can upgrade to a larger package with more vCPUs, memory, or storage at any time (up to 16 vCPUs and 32 GB RAM). Please contact us and we will schedule the upgrade with minimal interruption.
Is there DDoS protection?
Yes — the EU data centers where our VPSs operate (Falkenstein, Nuremberg, and Helsinki) have standard network-wide DDoS protection. This filtering is included; you do not need to arrange anything extra.
Are there traffic limits?
Each package includes a generous amount of data traffic that is sufficient for almost all applications. If you expect exceptionally high traffic, please contact us in advance — we will then look together at the appropriate setup.
Can I cancel my VPS?
Yes — a VPS is a subscription model; there is usually a notice period of one month, in writing. You can always secure your data yourself before the end of the term.
AI Chatbots
Doesn't an AI chatbot sound robotic?
No. Modern AI chatbots conduct natural conversations in fluent Dutch. We train the bot on your tone of voice and conduct extensive testing before it goes live. Visitors know they are talking to a digital assistant, but the experience feels personal.
What is the cost of an AI chatbot?
A chatbot is available from a one-time setup fee plus a monthly management fee. The price depends on the number of channels and integrations. We always provide a customized quote without obligation — often the bot pays for itself through saved time and additional leads.
Does the bot also work via WhatsApp?
Yes, that is precisely our specialty. Your customers message your business number and receive an immediate response. WhatsApp is the most used channel in the Netherlands — that is where you want to be reachable.
What happens if the bot does not know the answer?
Then it transfers the conversation to a staff member, including the complete conversation history. You set the boundaries: the bot never makes commitments that you do not want.
In which languages can the bot communicate?
Standard eight languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Swedish — the bot automatically recognizes and responds in the visitor's language.
Is the chatbot GDPR-compliant?
Yes — GDPR compliance is a fundamental principle for every bot we build: explicit consent before we collect contact details, and minimal data collection (only what is necessary for follow-up). We align the specific implementation, such as retention periods, with the project.
Can I cancel at any time?
That depends on the chosen package: for a subscription model, there is a notice period (usually one month, in writing); fixed-price packages are a one-time project without a continuous subscription.
Customer Service Bot
How does the bot get to know my products and services?
We train the bot on your website, brochures, FAQ lists, and internal documentation. Then we test together and fill in gaps. New products or changed prices? The knowledge is easy to update.
Can the bot really work through our existing WhatsApp number?
Yes. We connect the bot to your business WhatsApp number. Customers will notice no difference from regular messaging — except that they receive an immediate response.
What if a customer wants to speak to an employee?
Then the bot stops and your team takes over, with the complete conversation history included. You set when the bot should refer.
How quickly can the bot go live?
A customer service bot typically goes live within two to three weeks, including training, WhatsApp integration, and testing phase.
In which languages can the bot communicate?
By default, eight languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Swedish — the bot automatically recognizes and responds in the visitor's language.
What is the cost of a customer service bot?
The price depends on the desired functionality and integrations. Please contact us for a customized quote.
Is the chatbot GDPR-compliant?
Yes — GDPR compliance is a fundamental principle in every bot we build: explicit consent before we collect contact details, and minimal data collection (only what is necessary for follow-up). The specific implementation, such as retention periods, is tailored to the project.
Can I cancel at any time?
That depends on the chosen package: for a subscription model, there is a notice period (usually one month, in writing); fixed-price packages are a one-time project without a continuous subscription.
Lead Generation Bot
Does a lead bot really yield more than a contact form?
Yes. An average contact form converts 1 to 2% of visitors; a well-configured lead bot achieves a multiple of that, as the barrier is lower and the conversation starts immediately. Therefore, you get more out of the traffic you already have.
Doesn't it feel intrusive for visitors?
That is up to you. The bot can subtly wait in the bottom right corner or only appear when someone is viewing the pricing page. We tailor the behavior to your target audience — helpful, not pushy.
Which CRM systems does the bot integrate with?
Virtually everything: from HubSpot and Pipedrive to a simple Google Sheet or just your mailbox. If you require customization, we will build the integration.
Can the bot also be used in advertising campaigns?
Certainly. Click-to-WhatsApp ads on Facebook and Instagram lead directly to your bot, which qualifies the lead and schedules the appointment. This significantly reduces your cost per lead.
In which languages can the bot communicate?
By default, eight languages: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Swedish — the bot automatically recognizes and responds in the visitor's language.
What does a lead generation bot cost?
The price depends on the desired functionality and integrations. Please contact us for a customized quote.
Is the chatbot GDPR-compliant?
Yes — GDPR compliance is a fundamental principle for every bot we build: explicit consent before we collect contact details, and minimal data collection (only what is necessary for follow-up). The specific implementation, such as retention periods, is tailored to the project.
Can I cancel at any time?
That depends on the chosen package: for a subscription model, there is a notice period (usually one month, in writing); fixed-price packages are a one-time project without a continuous subscription.
Automation
Which tasks should I automate first?
Start with tasks that occur frequently and have few exceptions: appointment confirmations, frequently asked emails, transferring data between systems. That is where the quickest gains can be made. In an intake session, we will map out together where you are losing the most time.
Should I replace my current software?
No, absolutely not. We build the automation around your existing systems — your accounting package, calendar, webshop, and CRM will continue to be in use.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
For critical steps, we incorporate human oversight: the AI prepares, you approve. Additionally, everything is logged, so it is always possible to see what happened and why.
Is this not only for large companies?
On the contrary. Automation is particularly valuable for SMEs and freelancers: you do not have a team to handle repetitive tasks. We make it affordable by working with proven building blocks instead of programming everything custom.
How is the cost model structured?
The construction of an automation system is a one-time project based on a quote. For keeping it operational — hosting, monitoring, and maintenance of the connections — a subscription may apply, with a notice period of typically one month, in writing.
Which tools and platforms do you work with?
We build with proven automation platforms such as n8n and connect via APIs with your existing software: accounting, calendar, CRM, webshop, and AI language models where it adds value. You are not tied to a single provider — the workflows are transferable.
What happens if a link breaks?
Links can break when an external system changes. Therefore, we log all workflows and can set up monitoring that alerts us before you notice anything. With a maintenance agreement, we resolve disruptions without you having to worry about it.
What about data security and the GDPR?
GDPR compliance is a fundamental principle: we only process the data that automation requires (minimal data collection) and connections are made through secure connections. Where an AI language model processes data, we discuss this explicitly with you in advance. The exact details, such as retention periods, are aligned with the project.
